China-Japan Friendship Hospital

As one of the largest modern hospitals in Beijing, the China-Japan Friendship Hospital was established through the cooperation of the Chinese and Japanese governments.The hospital has been directly affiliated with China's Ministry of Health (MOH) since its first day of operation. It’s also the only hospital in charge of distance medical education and trainings designed by MOH of China.

The hospital covers 9.7 hectares, with a total of 1,500 beds, 68 departments, as well as a clinical research and education center. With intensive care and treatment of severe diseases as a primary focus and integrative eastern-western medicinal therapy as an additional area of expertise, the hospital offers a comprehensive array of medical services and educational resources. The China-Japan Friendship Hospital was ranked among the “Top 10 Hospitals in Beijing” and as one of the “Top100 Hospitals in China.”

As an outstanding medical institution in China, the China-Japan Friendship Hospital was rated “the best hospital for foreigners in Beijing” by the Association for Foreigners. Many cooperative programs have been set up in conjunction with universities, academies and medical institutions in Japan, the United States and Europe.

Qilu Hospital of Shandong University

Lying on the East China seaboard Shandong, Jinan, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University performs a comprehensive role in medical service, teaching, scientific research and preventive care. Since established in 1890 by an American couple (Mr. James Royl Neal and his wife) invited by the Presbyterian Church of North America. In October 2000, it was officially renamed as Qilu Hospital of Shandong University.

Qilu Hospital of Shandong University currently provides 62 clinical departments and more than 3,000 inpatient beds. All the medical indicators including technology of diagnosis and treatment stand amongst the top of domestic hospitals. In 2011, the numbers of outpatients, inpatients and operations were respectively: 2,077,799; 78,049; and, 36,613.

The First Affiliated Hospital of PLA General Hospital;the Armed Police General Hospital

First Affiliated Hospital of PLA General Hospital (formerly 304 Hospital) was founded in 1954, has now developed into a burning (Gen.) injury, orthopedics, emergency features, clinical disciplines complete, advanced equipment, the overall high level of modern integrated healthcare hospital. There are more than 120 senior experts in the hospital, including 2 China academicians and36experts with special government allowances.

There are 46 clinical departments in the hospital with 1100 beds, more than 30,000 patients and 16,000 surgeries annually. It has the most advanced research and clinical facilities, such as PET, MRI, X-ray, DSA, etc. It’s also one of the most famous hospitals for cancer treatment in China. As the first three hospitals of the Army, it’s now known as Capital Region Army Emergency Center, traffic injury treatment center , the capital of glioma treatment center, the capital of epilepsy surgery centers, and Beijing medical insurance designated hospitals.

The General Hospital of Armed Police Force (GHAPF)

The General Hospital of Armed Police Force (GHAPF) is a large modernized comprehensive upper level first-class hospital integrated with medical, healthcare, teaching, research and rescue. It has 1,360 hospital beds and 82 departments. Boasting a powerful technical strength, it has 450 experts of various fields. Around 115 experts have been awarded with special government allowances of the state council and military talents allowance.

GHAPF is a military hospital with glorious tradition stemmed from the war. In 1993, the hospital was honored as “Advanced Unit of Medical Technology” by the People’s Armed Police Force. In 1998, it was formally appointed as “Teaching Hospital” by The Fourth Military Medical University with postgraduate and doctoral cultivation spots founded gradually.

In 1999, it was honored as designated hospital of Beijing medical insurance. In 2000, it was elected as “Advanced Unit of Continual Medical Education” by the entire army. In 2001, it was the first batch of hospitals elected as “Trustworthy Hospital” in China. In addition, it was confirmed as Chinese Medical Rescue Base of SOS. In Aug.2002, under the rigorous support of related department of the head quarter, the hospital was approved as “Post-doctoral Research Working Station” by Ministry of Personnel.
